Simi Valley is holding its 2nd Annual Simi Valley Health & Fitness Challenge, organized by Cardio Barre and World of Wellness, Inc. Early registration has been taking place since November, however, there's still time to comprise a team of 4 and show up for that 1st weigh-in. The first weigh-in will be on Monday, January 9th at either Cardio Barre or The World of Wellness in Simi Valley. The contest will run for 13 weeks; January 10^th – April 8, 2011, with bi-weekly weigh-ins. A portion of the money raised will be donated to The Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top two teams who lose the most percentage of weight as well the person who has the greatest amount of weight loss; 9 people in all.
