Election Day 2010

Don't forget to Vote on

November 2, 2010!

As we all know, California is in a serious fiscal crisis. Not just California, but, also the cities and counties that call California their home. As Simi Valley residents - as Americans, you have the honor and freedom to vote for who you think will best represent your community and values.

Do you know who is running and what they stand for?

Locally, we have the Mayoral race, City Council members, the School District's governing board, and Parks and Recs Director. There's Assemblyman looking for your votes at the district level. Federal races such as the Senator's race and the U.S. Reps - Districts 23 & 24. Judicial races include the race to the Supreme Court and for the Justice's bench. And then there's the big state-wide races: Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Treasurer, State Controller, Attorney General, Board of Equalization, etc. Not to mention the propositions! A lot to consider while we're in such a huge turning point for our fine state. Jobs, taxes, and healthcare are some key note issues. So where do you stand?

Here's some of our local citizens who are looking to guide our city / county to be the best it can be:

TREASURER - TAX COLLECTOR, VENTURA COUNTY:

We encourage you to educate yourselves on all the issues as well as the candidates that are running. Most of all: VOTE!
